Junior PV Power Plant engineer
Job Description
- Design the general layout and electrical components of utility scale PV systems.
- Perform 3D terrain based yield analysis of project designs using PVsyst.
- Liaise with regional engineering teams and draughtsmen to produce complete project preliminary and construction drawing packages.
- Coordinate the execution of engineering (pre-feasibility, basic, detailed, as-built) for assigned projects with support from regional engineering teams or external consultants.
- Perform cable and equipment sizing calculations and prepare electrical schematics based on local/international standards and practices.
- Prepare reports and calculations for electrical system designs.
What you bring
- Engineering graduate with at least a Bachelor's degree in relevant electrical field from a reputable university. Master's degree is an advantage.
- Understanding of low, medium and high voltage systems including substations, protection devices and relays.
- AutoCAD/CAdian Pro skills are mandatory. Knowledge of Helios3D, PVCase or similar design software is a strong advantage.
- Fluent in English.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
